About the Artist
Amy Oliver is a Ventura based photographer originally from a sleepy town on the coast of North
Carolina. She earned her MFA in photography from the California Institute of the Arts in 2007 and her BA
from Tufts University in 2001. Since completing her studies, she has been happily teaching photography at
Los Angeles City College and Pasadena City College. She works with digital and traditional photographic
materials using 4x5, medium format, 35mm, and digital SLR cameras in her work.
